Maria Vassileva
Born 1961 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated in art history from the Art Academy, Sofia in 1984. She specialised at the Museum of Modern Art, New York (1998) and at the Institute of the History of Art at the University in Rochester, the USA (1999). Curator at the Sofia Municipal Art Gallery, department of contemporary art. Teaching History of Contemporary Art at the University of Veliko Tarnovo. Active as an art critic and theoretician. Since 1998 curator of the women's group "The 8th of March".

Adelina Popnedeleva
Born 1965. Graduated in textile design from the Art Academy, Sofia in 1988. She has created objects and installations, working with hand-made paper, wire, colour slides, video and sound.

Katarina Matiasek
Her work takes the form of artistic, scientific and cinematographic projects investigating human perception, with an emphasis placed on visual memory and after-images.

Alla Georgieva
Born 1957 in Ukraine. Graduated from the Institute of Art and Design at Kharkov, the Ukraine, in 1981. Until 1992 she worked in the field of caricature, satirical painting and illustration.

Ana Stojkovic
Born in Skopje, R. Macedonia in 1971. Graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Skopje in 1997. Exhibitions: 2001 - Perfect Match, City Shopping Moll, Skopje; The dream of my life, The National Art Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Dimitrina Sevova
Born 1971. Graduated in painting at the Art Academy, Sofia in 1997. One of the first Bulgarian artists to take up video-art and net-art. She also works in the field of computer graphics, design and photo-installation.

Marilena Preda Sank
Born 1955. 1979 BA University of Arts, Bucharest; 2002 Ph.d. on video and digital imaging at the University of arts, Bucharest. Works in the field of painting, performance, video and installation.

Nadezhda Oleg Lyahova
Born 1960. Graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia. For a time she devoted herself to painting and stage design. She is concerned with the various extreme states regarding both space and time.

Susanna Perin
Born 1962 in Aarau, Switzerland, lives in Switzerland and Italy. Graduated from Accademia di Belle Arti and Scuola delle Arti Ornamentali, Rome.

Tanya Abadjieva
Born 1968 in Pazardjik, Bulgaria. Graduated from the Art Academy, Sofia in 1996. She made her debut in the field of graphics, winning two prizes at international graphic show.

Cristina Della Giustina
Born 1965 in Schaffhausen, CH. Lives and works in Amsterdam, NL. Studied Philosophy, Art History, Linguistics at University Zurich (CH). Worked as curator for the Museum zu Allerheiligen, Schaffhausen, and the Kulturzentrum BINZ39, residence for artists, Scuol-Nairs(CH).
